Raised on Long Island, Mezzo-Soprano Emily Geller has performed a wide range of repertoire, from opera and musical theater, to straight theater.
Emily was a Semi-finalist in NATS Song and Aria Competition, Orpheus National Vocal Competition, Classical Singer AudComps and awarded The NYSTEA Award of Excellence for Exceptional Work in Theater.
Emily graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory of Music. She earned both the Emmitt Quinton Scholarship for Theater and the prestigious Ruth S. Morse Scholarship. Immediately after graduating, Ms. Geller was invited to perform with the College Light Opera Company in Cape Cod where she performed nine roles in eleven weeks. Emily was described as “outstanding”, “superb” and “most enjoyable to watch and listen to” by The Falmouth Enterprise. The Cape Cod Times hailed her as “radiant” and “delightfully over the top”.
Most recently, Emily was the soloist in the Duruflé Requiem and Debussy’s Trois Chansons with the Nashoba Valley Chorale in Littleton, MA. While in Boston, Ms. Geller was the Alto soloist in Handel’s Messiah with Colleges of the Fenway Choir and the “Mouse” soloist in Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb with conductor, Donald Teeters. Her operatic highlights include: Mrs. Anderson (A Little Night Music), La maestra delle novizie (Suor Angelica), Third Lady (The Magic Flute), Queen of the Fairies (Iolanthe), Duchess (The Gondoliers), Miss. Todd (Old Maid and the Thief) and Mrs. Herring (Albert Herring). She has performed at Intermezzo Young Artist Program, Rising Star Singers Audition Workshop and Boston University’s Tanglewood Institute Vocal Program.
In addition to teaching privately with String Sound Studios, Ms. Geller also has a studio at Great Neck Arts Center, teaches the music classes at their Art Camp and conducts their Glee Club Choir. Emily regularly cantors at St. Mary’s Church on Long Island and studies under Mr. Terence Goff.

Vince Lewis Quartet A Different Standard This exciting new release is comprised of some of the best music ever
written. Vince has drawn from the classic hymns and placed them into a
contemporary jazz setting. Along with Tom Hildreth (bass) and Phil Riddle
(drums) the group has added Phil Thompson on woodwinds. Sure to satisfy
fans of the Vince Lewis Trio's previous music, this work will also expose
his audience to reverential treatments of meaningful and timeless Christian
favorites.
This collection is sure to bring back memories of singing these wonderful
hymns in church. Selections include, "Precious Lord Take My Hand," "In The
Garden" and "Worthy of Worship." Each tune is a celebration of the
original intent of the composer presented in mainstream jazz styles.
